About me.
-
Childhood
It all began with an inquisitive kid, constantly wondering - how objects were made, what they did and how they did it. Growing up around construction sites, practical skills have always been an important part of my life. I have been a maker since I can remember, from building my very own workshop in the garden when I was 13 years old to making gifts for friends and family to trying my hand at different crafts like pottery, stone carving or blacksmithing.

Hobbies
I have always been very active, playing football and competing in swimming growing up. I reached the national level of competitive swimming and led my swimming club to a promotion to the premier division of the National Arena League during my captaincy. I am now a keen surfer and weightlifter taking trips to the North-East coast at the weekends during university term time and spending the holidays living and working in Cornwall.

Experience
Studying Maths, Physics and 3D Design at A-Level provided me with a strong understanding of prototyping methods alongside mechanical and electrical principles. These naturally led to studying a Product Design and Technology BSc at Loughborough Design School during which I undertook a 12 month industrial product design placement at Roper Rhodes which was a brilliant test of my abilities and provided me with a newfound confidence.
